Funeral services for Mr. Harold Ray Haney, 62, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at his residence. He was born December 17, 1955, in Jackson County, TN, to Gladys L. Haney and the late Harold Gene Haney. He was a factory worker and loved his family. He loved to fish and hunt. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 Nephew: Tommy Haney; 1 Great Nephew: Jason Blake Haney; and 1 Great Niece: McKenzie Farley Allen. Survivors include his Mother: Gladys L. Haney of Cookeville, TN; 2 Brothers: Garry (Carolyn) Haney of Cookeville, TN, and Billy Sherrill Haney of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sisters: Carolyn (Ricky) Haney of Cookeville, TN, and Patricia (Reece) Denson of Gainesboro, TN; and Special Pet: Bullet. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Billy Haney will officiate at the services.
