Funeral services for Mr. Harlon Lee Goolsby, 74, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Turkeytown Cemetery in Clay County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born August 1, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late David Loyd Goolsby and Susie Illa Goolsby. He was a millwright in the automotive industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Wanda Rose Brown. Survivors include 3 Sons: Kenneth Lee Goolsby of Harrison Township, MI, Kevin Loyd Goolsby of Clinton Township, MI, and Kasie Lee Goolsby of Shelby Township, MI; 2 Daughters: Krystal Lynn Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN, and Kirstie Leann (Jason) Rizzo of Sterling Heights, MI; 7 Grandchildren: Kevin Loyd Goolsby, Jr., Leonora Purdle, Madison Rizzo, Mitchell Goolsby, Briley Goolsby, Liam Goolsby, and Karleigh Goolsby; 3 Brothers: Thomas Junior (Connie) Goolsby of Hilham, TN, Troy Richard (Debbie) Goolsby of Madison Heights, MI, and David Kaleb (Relaine) Goolsby of Centerline, MI; and 4 Sisters: Virginia Louise Blanken of New Tazewell, TN, Loure Ovena Barlow of Gainesboro, TN, Martha Ann Burton of Roseville, MI, and Barbara Marie Wheeler of Gainesboro, TN.
