Greg Scott

Greg Scott was born September 25, 1968, in Gainesboro, TN, and he passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN, at the age of 54.

He was the son of Sarah Lucille Scott Herren and the late Andy M. Scott. He was a logger, and a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Sister: Christy Scott.

Survivors include 1 Son: Matthew (Megan) Scott of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Megan (Jack) Trivett of Cookeville, TN; 2 Brothers: Tony (Sarah) Scott of Gainesboro, TN, and Shawn Dewayne Scott of Silver Point, TN; 2 Sisters: Lisa (Randy) Sullivan of Gainesboro, TN, and Nicole Herren of Silver Point, TN; his Mother: Sarah Lucille Scott Herren; and 3 Grandchildren: Kenli Scott, Kaydense Scott, and Kaven Scott of Cookeville, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Danny Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Jackson County. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 11 A.M. until time of services.
