Grace Spivey

Funeral services for Grace Spivey, 90, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 12:30 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Mabry Health Care and Rehab. She was born May 29, 1931, in Albany, KY, to the late Nona P. Rigney. She was married to the late Sammie Spivey, who passed away August 30, 2010. She was a factory worker at Crotty. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Shirley Cox; Brothers: Glenn, Bill, and Ray; and Sisters: Mable, Myrtle, and Naola. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Brenda Anderson of Gainesboro, TN; adopted daughter, Leeann Rich of Whitleyville; Grandchildren: Steve Scantland, Stephanie Fox, Tommy Jones, and Timmy Jones. 7 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Heart Association, or Cancer Society by contacting the funeral home.
