Grace Jackson

Funeral services for Miss Grace Jackson, 90, of the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Jackson -Whetstone Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014. She was born August 23, 1924 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Perry Lee Jackson, Sr. and Edna Kinnard Jackson. She was a 1948 graduate of Jackson County High School. She was a school teacher and substitute teacher for 22 years. She was a factory employee of Georgia Boot Company and Crotty. She was of the Christian faith, attending Fairview Free Methodist Church and Poston's Chapel Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister and Brother-in-law: Etta Clyde Jackson Brown and Robert M. "Clyde" Brown; 4 Brothers: Edgar (Ruth) Lee Jackson, Charles "Joe" (Georgia) Jackson, Russell E. (Laurene) Jackson , Perry Lee (Maudie) Jackson, Jr.; and 3 Great Nieces: Karri, Lesa, and Charlene; Survivors include Great Niece: Kimberly Young of Gainesboro, TN; Great-Great Nephew: Jonathan Goodwin of Gainesboro, TN; Niece: Glenda West of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Nieces and Nephews: Patricia (Dennis) Quinn-Buchta of St. Helen, MI; Frank (Patricia) Jackson of Montgomery, IL; Jim Jackson and Gary Jackson, both of Dayton, OH; Carolyn (Bayless) Buck, Ralph (Pearl) Jackson, Kathy (Glynn) Phillips, and Alton (Bernice) Brown, all of Gainesboro, TN and 22 Great Nieces and Nephews: Daniel, Laura, Kimberly, James, Melinda, Jessie, Michelle, Lisa, Tammy, Jennifer, Vikki, Kelli, Korri, Randy, Mark, Margie, Russell, Vickie, Teresa, Lee, Steven, and Melissa.
