Gladys Lucille Phann

Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Lucille Phann, 91, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 Noon - 9 P.M., Saturday from 12 Noon - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Signature Health Care Center in Algood, TN. She was born September 17, 1925, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Amos B. Smith and Katie Hix Smith. In May of 1941, she was married to the late Reggie Elberth Phann, who passed away December 25, 1998. She was a housekeeper and caretaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jimmy Joe Phann; 1 Daughter: Brenda Sue Heady; 2 Brothers: Cecil F. Smith and Charles Fred Smith; and 1 Grandson: Ricky Head. Survivors include 1 Son and 2 Daughters-in-Law: Junior (Deborah) Phann and Kathy Phann of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Faye (Dwane) Head and Joyce (Corbit) Herd, all of Gainesboro, TN; 10 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; 9 Great Great Grandchildren; and 1 Sister: Shirley Ann Harper of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Ronnie Dunn, Bro. Don Bryant, and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
