Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Marie Clark Wheeler, 90, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at NHC Place, Cool Springs in Franklin, TN. She was born January 9, 1927, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Willie Clark and Anna Clark. On February 9, 1947, she was married to the late Willie Frank Wheeler, who passed away March 7, 1997. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ in Granville, TN. She loved her flowers, gardening, and helping people. She was a member of the FCE Club, and former treasurer of the Nameless Community Center and Fire Department. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Clella Madge Wheeler; and 1 Brother: Ernest Clark. Survivors include 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Herby and Teresa Wheeler of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter and Son-in-Law: Jan and Dennis Crowder of Franklin, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Chris (Daphne) Crowder of Franklin, TN, Greg (Allison) Crowder of Fairview, TN, Angela (Matt) Suggs of Cookeville, TN, and Jonathan (Jennifer) Wheeler of Jackson, TN; and 7 Great Grandchildren: Kristina Crowder, Corinne Crowder, Hatcher Crowder, Andrew Crowder, Ethan Suggs, Eli Suggs, and Elizabeth Wheeler.
