Gist B. Hurst

Graveside services for Mrs. Gist B. Hurst, 65, of Pall Mall, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the Davidson Cemetery in Pall Mall, TN. The family will receive friends at the gravesite prior to the service. She passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at Tennova Healthcare Center in Jamestown, TN. She was born June 8, 1951, in Pickett County, TN, to the late Ed Beaty and Gracie Beaty. On August 15, 1970, she was married to the late Elda Hurst. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Airzia Beaty Cooper, Ernie Beaty, and Clarice Beaty Sullivan; and 2 Brothers: Lowen Beaty and Harvie Beaty. Survivors include 2 Sons: Waylon (Julia) Hurst of Pall Mall, TN, and Wade (Greta) Hurst of Baxter, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Harvie, Gracey, and Mary Ellen Hurst; 2 Brothers: Garland Beaty and Hurlen Beaty, both of Pall Mall, TN; and 1 Sister: Various Beaty of Pall Mall, TN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Randy Thompkins and Bro. Lane Pippin will officiate at the services.
