Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Harris, 78, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Harris - Meade Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 P.M. to 9 P.M., with a prayer service from 5 - 6 P.M., with Preacher Jeff Hart officiating; and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born January 20, 1937, in Letcher County, KY, to the late Willie Meade and Cora Bell Meade. She was married to the late Earl Harris. She was a factory worker, and affiliated with the New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Willie Dalze Harris; 1 Great Granddaughter: Stephanie Gruel; and 1 Brother: Buddy Meade. Survivors include 3 Daughters: including Cora Ellen Guffey of Gainesboro, TN, and Iola Marie Isaacs of Deane, KY; 2 Sisters: one being Juanita Pryor; 9 Grandchildren; and 9 Great Grandchildren. Bro.
