Funeral services for Georgie C. Buck, 66, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Old Antioch Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at his residence. He was born February 11, 1953, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Georgie Lee Buck and Opal E. Goolsby Buck. On June 5, 1971, he was married to the late Sue Buck, who passed away December 28, 2012. He was a carpenter, and a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ and Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Roy Buck; and 1 Brother-in-Law: Gary Stacy. Survivors include 1 Son: Ray Buck and fiance, Lisa Savage of Hilham, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Amy (Phil) Hunt of Nashville, TN; 1 Great Grandchild: Aiden Haney; 6 Brothers: Edward (Missy) Buck, Willie K. (Cheryle) Buck, and Paul (Diane) Buck, all of Dayton, OH; Mack (Cathy) Buck of Hilham, TN; Ricky Buck and Ronnie Buck, both of Mt. Juliet, TN; 2 Sisters: Brenda Stacy of Gainesboro, TN, and Edna (Lloyd) Dilldine of Mt. Juliet, TN; and Special Friend: Carlos Glen Stacy. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro.
