Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia "Faye" Goolsby, 75, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born January 2, 1944, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Houston Stafford and Vivian Stafford. She was married to the late Kenneth Goolsby. She worked as an office manager, and was a member of the Dudneys Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter: Kaitlyn Garrison; 1 Sister: Ann Heady; and 2 Brothers: Wayne Stafford and Sherril Stafford. Survivors include 1 Son: David A. "Tony" Goolsby of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Sandra (Michael) Garrison of Cookeville, TN, and Angie Roark of Lebanon, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Michael Roark of Lebanon, TN, Kelley Garrison of Cookeville, TN, and Kendra Hicks of Cookeville, TN; 1 Great Granddaughter: Kaitlyn Grace Davenport; 1 Brother in Law: Ray Heady of Gainesboro, TN; and 3 Sisters in Law: Jimmie Stafford of Gainesboro, TN, Linda Hix of Livingston, TN, and Vickey Apple of Cookeville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Ronnie Dunn and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
