Funeral services for George Michael Flatt, 57, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018, at his residence. He was born September 20, 1961, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late James E. Flatt and Mary Helen Stafford Flatt. On March 7, 1981, he was married to Bonnie Kilmon Flatt, who survives. He was a factory worker at Nielsen, and a member of the Free State Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Infant Brother: James Daniel Flatt; Paternal Grandparents: James Harvey and Lura Ann Flatt; and Maternal Grandparents: Luke and Elizabeth Stafford. Survivors include his Wife: Bonnie Kilmon Flatt of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Ricky Flatt of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Kathy Marie Flatt of Gainesboro, TN. Other relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
