Funeral services for Mr. George L. Key, 67, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, November 14, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson Co. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. on Saturday, and Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Key passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2004, at the Byrdstown Medical Center in Byrdstown, TN. He was born April 24, 1937, in Clay County, TN, to the late Elmer Key and Lovie Daniels Key. Mr. Key was a factory worker and a farmer. He was also a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Key was preceded in death by his wife: Bonnie Johnson Key; and 2 Sisters: Anna Beard and Mabel Hamlet. His family includes 2 Sons: Tony Key of Cookeville, TN and Randy (Shannon) Key of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Margaret (Billy) Bryant of Baxter, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Chasity West, Jason Brown, and Makenzi Key; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Cameron and Gavin West; 2 Brothers: Tommy Key of Red Boiling Springs, TN and Lloyed Key of Byrdstown, TN; and 2 Sisters: Minnie Whited of Livingston, TN and Clara Baldwin of Austin-Tracey, Kentucky.
