Funeral services for Mr. George B. Hamilton, 80, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Burris Cemetery on Mabry School Road in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at his residence. He was born October 26, 1939, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Willie Hamilton and Vida Mae Hensley Hamilton. On September 7, 1963, he was married to Moline Stafford Hamilton, who survives. He was a factory worker at Dacco, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Grandson: Tyler Hamilton; 2 Brothers: Billy P. Hamilton and Donald C. Hamilton; and 1 Sister: Ora Lee Knight. Survivors include his Wife: Moline Stafford Hamilton of Bloomington Springs, TN; 3 Sons: William McKinley Hamilton of Bloomington Springs, TN, Michael Lee Hamilton of Indianapolis, IN, and John (Rachel) Stafford of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Daughter: Georgia Irene Driesens of Indianapolis, IN; 7 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 2 Step Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Daniel T. Hamilton of Indianapolis, IN; and 3 Sisters: Betty (Roy) Smallwood of Gainesboro, TN, Lela (Jerry) Jamison of Nashville, TN, and Wanda Sue Stafford of Bellingham, WA.
