Funeral services for George Alan Henry, Jr., 34, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 4 P.M. on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, in Cookeville, TN. He was born February 26, 1986, in Cookeville, TN, to George Alan Henry, Sr. and Sabrina Dale Lackey. He was medically retired from the United States Marine Corps, and attended the New Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather: David Lackey. Survivors include his Father: George Alan (Danita) Henry, Sr.; his Mother: Sabrina Dale Lackey; 3 Brothers: Byran Norrod, Ethan Henry, and Isaac Hamlet; 3 Sisters: Tausha Grady, Heather Nixon, and Jasmine Hamlet; Maternal Grandparents: Ronnie and Verble Harris; and Paternal Grandparents: John and Shirley Henry. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project by contacting the funeral home.
