Gene Arvle Pryor

Memorial services for Gene Arvle Pryor, 66, of Gainesboro, TN will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 3 P.M. from the chapel of Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 1 P.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born February 12, 1946 in Jackson County, to the late Joe Arvle Pryor and Delsie Reeder Pryor. He was a disabled mine worker and a resident of Gainesboro, TN. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son: Barry Gene Pryor; and a niece: Sharon Lynn Pryor. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Amy Pryor and her fianc: Erik Baxter of Nashville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Devon Pryor, Samantha Pryor, and Brianna Minchy; 1 Sister: Myrtie (Donald) Gentry if Jackson County, TN; 2 Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Ray (Jerri) Pryor of Cookeville, TN; and Encil (Deborah) Pryor of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Uncles: Odell Reeder of Lebanon, TN; and Harse Pryor of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Aunt: Darlene Somers of Smithville, TN.
