Garry Dale Pippin

Funeral services for Garry Dale Pippin, 48, of the Shiloh Community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, September 8, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Garry passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at his residence in the Shiloh community. He was born June 19, 1958, in Jackson County to Johnny & Jewell Pippin. He was married to Bobbie Sue Pippin, who survives. He was an employee of the Jackson County Highway Department and a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. Garry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Tom D. and Ora P. Hensley Allen; and his paternal grandparents: Tom C. and Zella D. Chaffin Pippin. Survivors include his wife: Bobbie Sue Pippin of the Shiloh community of Jackson County; 2 Sons: William Pippin of Gainesboro, TN and Bobby Dale Pippin of the Shiloh community; 1 Step-Daughter: Amanda Estep of the Shiloh community; his parents: Johnny and Jewell Pippin of the Shiloh community; 2 Brothers and 1 Sister-in-Law: Johnny Dewayne Pippin of Whitleyville, TN, and Gerald D. & Linda Pippin of the Shiloh community; and 1 Sister: Kathy D. Finger and her husband, Dwayne of McMinnville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. Dewayne Chaffin and Bro. Doyle Wilmoth will officiate at the services.
