Age 80
Donnie Gail Minchey Thompson was born December 24, 1943 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 80.
She was the daughter of Eldon Lee Minchey and Eva Louise Sloan Minchey. She worked for over 30 years for Wilson Manufacturing in Cookeville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survived by her son, Kenny (Patty) Ragland of Gainesboro; sisters, June Vanhooser of Gainesboro and Elaine Flatt of Cookeville; grandchildren, Nathan Lee Ragland and Savannah (Wesley) Porter; great grandchild, Wilder Allen Porter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will on Thursday, January 4, 2024, 10 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 4, 2023 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.
