The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2019, from 3 P.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born December 17, 1953, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late James E. Smith and Carol Sadler Shealy. He was a suit tailor by trade, and a member of the McClellan Church of Christ in Cookeville, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Jack L. Smith; 2 Sisters: Kathy Smith and Kaye Smith Mathis; Paternal Grandparents: Herman and Josie Smith; and Maternal Grandparents: John Henry and Clifford Sadler. Survivors include 1 Son: Beau (Kara) Smith of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Jessica Williams of Cookeville, TN; 10 Grandchildren: Bella, Joshua, Madden, Braxton, Caleb, David, Ronan, and Nevaeh Smith; Josie Kate and Maya Isabelle Williams; 1 Nephew: James Herman Smith of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Niece: Jacquline (Gary) Flynn of Gainesboro, TN.
