Fred Pruett

Funeral services for Mr. Fred Pruett, 88, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born October 8, 1924, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jim Pruett and Mary Ann Pruett. He was married to Modine Lynn Pruett, who survives. He worked for Twin Lakes Telephone Co., and was a member of the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an Infant Daughter; 1 Grandson: Jeffery Rex Pruett; and 2 Sisters: Lola Stafford and Mable Pruett. Survivors include his Wife: Modine Lynn Pruett of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: James (Cindy) Pruett of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 2 Daughters: Mildred (Jimmy Jones) Phann and Mary Pruett, all of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Crystal (Brandon) Bean, Tiffany Pruett, and Tiona Pruett; 2 Great Grandchildren: Olivia Bean and Carlee Bean; 1 Brother: F.C. (Louise) Pruett of Gainesboro, TN; and a Special Person: Dusty Tidwell of Rickman, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
