Fred Henry Allen

Funeral services for Mr. Fred Henry Allen, 78, of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, October 9, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Mansell Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. to 9 P.M. and on Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Signature Healthcare in Cookeville, TN. He was born March 25, 1937, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Dan Allen and Louvella Martin Allen. On December 23, 1972, he was married to Nola Allen, who survives. He was a tow motor operator at Flowserve. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, and loved his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Eugene, Bill, Paul, and David Allen; and 2 Sisters: Myrtle Ruth Allen and Betty M. Gaw. Survivors include his Wife: Nola Allen of Jackson County, TN; 1 Daughter: Gina (Jeremy) Toler of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN; 2 Grandsons: J.T. Toler and Jaydan Toler; 3 Adopted Grandchildren: Brooke, Keisha, and Johnny Toler; 2 Sisters: Irene West (Charles) Nelson and Almedia (Allen) Loftis; 1 Sister-in-Law: Juanita Allen of Ohio; and 1 Brother-in-Law: Eddie Chaffin of Gainesboro, TN.
