Fred David Scantland was born March 2, 1966, in Gainesboro, TN and he passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at his residence in Gainesboro at the age of 58.
He was the son of Joe Fred Scantland and Edna Mae Scantland.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son: Josh Scantland of Gainesboro; Sister: Teresa Scantland (Ronnie Leonard) Naff of Whitleyville; Neice: Amanda (Lance) Simmons of Tompkinsville, KY; great nieces and nephew: Riley, Colton and Avery who lovingly called Fred “Bo Bo”.
A Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 10 AM at Lynn Cemetery. Where Family and friends can come together and share memories with each other in remembrance of Fred.
