Fred Bryan Casteel

Mr. Fred Casteel, 86, of Gainesboro, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his residence. The family has chosen cremation, with internment of his cremains on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2 pm. Location will be at Pharris Cemetery with John Cason officiating. He was born April 30, 1934, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Howard Casteel and Pearlie Hamlet. He was a tree surgeon, and a member of the Harmony Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife: Letha Casteel; 2 Sisters: Lillian Stafford and Edna Beaty; and 4 Brothers: Goldman, Hubert, James, Vollie and Walter Casteel. Survivors include 3 Daughters: Nancy Schwarz of Cookeville, TN, Kimberly Casteel of Gainesboro, TN, and Angelia Anders of Gainesboro, TN; Sister: Lucy Gray of Cookeville, TN; 5 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
