Fred B. Walker, 78, of Gainesboro, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The family has chosen cremation, with memorial services scheduled for Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 1 pm. The serivce will be at the Curry's Chapel United Methodist Church located at 1775 Shepardsville Hwy, Bloomington Springs, TN. Bro. Jackie Wheeler will officiate the service. He was born August 27, 1943, in Allentown, PA, to the late William B. Walker and Mary Walker. On September 24, 1976, he was married to Betty Walker, who survives. He worked at Nielsen, and was a member of the Currys Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: William Walker; and 1 Sister: Delores Lindstrom. Survivors include his Wife: Betty Walker of Gainesboro, TN; Sons: Dale Berta, Daniel Berta, Drew Berta, Dennis Berta, and Michael Walker; 1 Sister: FayLynn Trachtman; 5 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren.
