Memorial services for Mr. Fred B. Vanderpool, 81, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born December 15, 1933, in Kentucky, to the late H.W. Vanderpool and Laura Spencer Profitt. He was married to Pat Vanderpool, who survives. He worked in the tool and die industry, and was a member of the Harmony Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Lori. Survivors include his Wife: Pat Vanderpool of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sons: Larry Vanderpool of Christiana, TN, Ronnie Vanderpool of Mt. Juliet, TN, and David Vanderpool of Mt. Juliet, TN; 1 Step-Son: John Stephen Smith of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Pam and Lisa; 1 Step-Daughter: Stephanie (Edmond) Langford of Cookeville, TN; 2 Step - Grandchildren: Nick Langford and Shawn Smith; 1 Sister: Betty Anderson of Southline, MI; 10 Grandchildren; and many Great Grandchildren.
