Franklin Clay Jones was born June 9, 1942, in Jackson County, TN, and he passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 80.
He was the son of the late Ernie Jim Jones and Maggie Florence Jones. He was an auto mechanic, and a resident of Gainesboro, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife: Shirley Lee Jones; his Wife: Judy Crowder Jones; Sisters: Lucy Roberts, Thelma Mann, and Dorothy Gibbs; Brothers: Mitchell Jones and Sidney Jones; and 1 Great Grandchild.
Survivors include 1 Son: Franklin Ray Jones of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Michael Mac Ray Jones, Sidney Clay Jones, Jessica Lynn Jones Inman, Crystal Ann Smith, and Dustain Jones; and Great Grandchildren: Isabella Jean Inman, Liam Wade Smith, Clayton Jones, and Baby Boy Inman. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
The family has chosen cremation, with no services at this time.
