Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Wilson Ray, 77, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, April 5, 2010, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Cubb Creek Cemetery in the Cubb Creek community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and again on Monday from 9 A.M. till time of services. She passed away on Saturday at NHC Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born March 16, 1933 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Oscar Wilson and Flossie Thomas Wilson. She was married to the late Gid S. Ray, who passed away December 19, 1997. She was a retired custodian at Clover Bottom Hospital, and a member of the Cubb Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Randall, Charles, Robert and Tommie; 2 Sisters: Ethel and Peggy. Survivors include 3 Sons: Jack Ray of Whitleyville, TN; Mack Ray of Carthage, TN; and Timmy Ray of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Donna Ray Warren of Cookeville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Natane Davis, Rachel Wheeler, and Ryan Ray; 6 Brothers: James Wilson, Bernley Wilson, Billy Joe Wilson, Paul Ray Wilson, Bobby Wilson, and Donald Wilson; 3 Sisters: Margaret Way, Anna Ruth Hodge, and Connie Ballard.
