Frances Pharris

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Pharris, 80, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, September 17, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Pharris passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born October 14, 1928, in Jackson County, TN, to the late William Logan and Sarah Jane Jones Brown. On March 24, 1951, she was married to William N. Pharris, who survives. She was a factory worker and homemaker, and a member of the New Salem Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Eldon W. Brown; and 3 Sisters: Carol Atwood, Jewell Brown, and Molly Lineberry. Survivors include her Husband: William N. Pharris of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Barbara (Mike) Waynick of Old Hickory, TN, and Ann (Tom) Copeland of Suwanee, GA; 1 Grandchild: Scott Mainord of Old Hickory, TN; 1 Great- Grandchild: Jason Mainord; 1 Brother: Homer T. (Mildred) Brown of Cookeville, TN; and 3 Sisters: Louise Mundy of Gainesboro, TN, Kerry Fields of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Marcia Barnett of Baxter, TN.
