Frances Norman Graves

Graveside services for Mrs. Frances "Peggy" Norman Graves, 93, of Murfreesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, TN. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. She passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born July 1, 1922, in Franklin, TN, to the late Charles H. Norman and Jean Shannon Norman. On December 25, 1955, she was married to the late Horace E. Graves. She was a director of sales in the hospitality industry, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro. She volunteered as a Pink Lady, and was a member of many business and charitable organizations. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Richard Norman; 1 Sister: Dorothy Nelson Pierce; a Special Aunt: Evelyn Norman Lawrence; and a Special Cousin: Betty Ann Lawrence. Survivors include 1 Son: Rick (Peggy) Garrison of Gallatin, TN; 2 Daughters: Ellen (Steve) Garrison Deaver of Granville, TN, and Judy (Bill) Garrison Heatherly of Granville, TN; 1 Brother: James S. (Martha) Norman of Brentwood, TN; 9 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved and who loved her. Rev. Stephen Deaver will officiate at the services.
