Frances Marie Crossman

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Marie Crossman, 90, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Life Care Center in Sparta, TN. She was born October 5, 1926, in Cookeville, TN, to the late Luther Crabtree and Ethel Crabtree. On March 9, 1944, she was married to the late Lorne Crossman, who passed away July 11, 2003. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Henry Crabtree; 4 Sisters: Milo Webb, Annetta Abdulla, Ruby Clouse, and Mildred Crabtree; 1 Grandson: Darren K. Crossman; and 1 Daughter-in-Law: Doretha Dial Crossman. Survivors include 3 Sons: Wayne (Aline) Crossman of Cookeville, TN, Warren Crossman of Chattanooga, TN, and Dale (Beverly) Crossman of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Charlotte (Robert) Cockrell of Buchanan, VA; 13 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Johnny Fox and Bro. Ewell Pritchett will officiate at the services.
