Frances L. Trisdale

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances L. Trisdale, 79, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Monday, February 17, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. She was born June 19, 1934, in Jackson County, TN, to the late John Dawes and Nellie Scantland Dawes. On April 5, 1951, she was married to the late George "Shorty" Trisdale, who passed away September 22, 2009. She was a retired nurse, and a member of the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Linda Kirkpatrick; 1 Grandson: Kevin Kirkpatrick; and 2 Sisters: Dorothy Dawes and Eva Slemp. Survivors include 1 Son: Rick (Diane) Trisdale of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Gail Pope of Ringgold, GA; 2 Grandsons: Darrell Trisdale of Gainesboro, TN, and Jason Dale Trisdale of Hermitage, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Skyla; 1 Brother: James (Sandy) Dawes of Springfield, OH; 1 Sister: Mae Hicks of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Half-Brother: Butch Coffee of Carthage, TN. Bro. Sam Mainord and Bro. Dan Huffines will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
