Fenis Flatt

Funeral services for Mr. Fenis Flatt, 78, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Flatt - Woolbright Cemetery on Flynns Creek Road in Gainesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at the J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Louisiana. He was born March 16, 1938, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Bert Flatt and Erlene Lacy Flatt. He was married to the late Anna Lou Young Flatt, who passed away September 6, 2014. He was a Coca Cola delivery driver, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Minnie Frances Hamlet and Audrey Whitaker; and 2 Brothers: Ralph Flatt and Faye Flatt. Survivors include 1 Son: Pat (Kim) Flatt of Breaux Bridge, LA; 2 Step-Sons: Benton (Autumn) Young of Cookeville, TN, and Harry (Melissa) Young of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Grandchild: Misty (Cody) Spear of Cookeville, TN; 1 Step Grandchild: Addison Young of Cookeville, TN; 3 Great Grandchildren: Sidney Wilson, Cleo Wilson, and Presley Spear; and 1 Brother: Farlin Flatt of Cookeville, TN.
