Faye Spivey Ragland

Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Spivey Ragland, 89, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Union Hill - Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M., and again on Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at her residence. She was born September 7, 1930, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Otha E. Spivey and Viola Hall Spivey. She was married to the late Coy L. Ragland, who passed away February 14, 2006. She was retired from Twin Lakes Telephone, and was a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. She loved flowers, gardening, and animals, especially her dog, Buffy. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Bill Walker and Michael Ragland; 1 Grandson: Scott Wade; 1 Brother: Dwight Spivey; and 1 Sister: Sue Messick. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Linda Jackson of Gainesboro, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Joey and Tonya Wade, Dana and Phillip Robinson, Dusty Ragland, Lacy Ragland and Matt Taylor, and Kelli Walker; 7 Great Grandchildren: Daniel and Chelsea Robinson, Tiffany and Josh Brake, Hope Wade and Evan Richardson, Olivia Jo Wade, Pippa Pope, Gracie Hamilton, and Peyton Barlow; 4 Great Great Grandchildren: Landyn Biles, Gracyn Robinson, Oaklyn Faye Robinson, and Isaiah Smith; and 1 Daughter in Law: Lisa Ragland. Bro. Jason Anderson and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Jackson County Animal Awareness fund or the Union Hill - Flatt Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
