Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Johnson, 82, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born June 23, 1928, in Jackson County, TN, to the late G.W. Jones and Awba Jones. On April 30, 1946, she was married to Bob Johnson, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Sammie Gray; and 1 Granddaughter: Toni Chaffin. Survivors include her Husband: Bob Johnson of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Nancy Johnson Chaffin of Gainesboro, TN, and Melinda Johnson Doty of Nashville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Luke Chaffin and wife, Melanie; Joanna Williams and husband, Lloyd; Nicholas Doty, and Eric Doty; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Anna Claire Williams and Robert Parker Chaffin; and 1 Sister: Cathy Draper of Knoxville, TN.
