Faye Dawes

Faye Dawes was born July 14, 1945 in Cleveland, OH and she passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 75. She was the daughter of King Yee and Georgia Wylie Yee. She was a member of the Harmony Church of Christ and a retired business owner of Fayes Restaurant in Gainesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elmer Dawes who passed away Dec. 26, 2017 and one great granddaughter, Sara Grace Dawes. Survivors include son, Troy (Debbie) Dawes of Bethpage, TN; daughters, Tresa (Stacy) Davis of Red Boiling Springs, TN and Jennifer (Mark) Pryor of Gainesboro; sister, Starlene West of Cookeville; grandchildren, Hunter, Halee, Hayden Davis, Genoa Dennis, Kayla Lambert, T J Dawes, and Michael Dawes; 11 great grandchildren and special pet, Lucy. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 1, 2020, 3-8 pm and Monday, 12-2 pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Danny Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Peek Cemetery in the Harmony Community. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
