Funeral services for Mrs. Fara Miller, 64, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 6 P.M. on Monday, February 12, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at her residence. She was born September 10, 1953, in Memphis, TN, to John McCue Cox, Jr. and Billie Lovelady Cox. On June 9, 1979, she was married to Dr. James E. Miller, who survives. She was a member of the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church, and taught for 16 years at Tennessee Technological University's School of Nursing. Survivors include her Husband: Dr. James E. Miller of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Rod (Rachael) Miller of Nashville, TN; 1 Daughter: Lauren Miller of Beverly Hills, CA; her Parents: John McCue Cox, Jr. and Billie Lovelady Cox of Memphis, TN; and 1 Brother: Chris Cox of Memphis, TN.
