Evia Flynn Bull

Funeral services for Mrs. Evia Nell Flynn Bull, 82, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, February 16, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M until time of services. Mrs. Bull passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born August 18, 1926, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Walter Fowler and Ruby Whitaker Flynn. On December 6, 1943, she was married to the late Asa Arthur Bull, who passed away April 8, 1991. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Charles Bull; 2 Daughters: Myra Sue Spivey and Freda Hensley; 3 Grandchildren: Nicholas Lacy, Rhonda Joyce Bull, and Beth Wynell Bull; 2 Brothers: Charlie Fowler Flynn and Major Joe Flynn; 2 Sisters: Olene Spivey and Wilma Barlow; 2 Sons-in-Law: Nim Lacy, Sr. and Larry Hensley; and 1 Daughter-in-Law: Catherine Bull. Survivors include 3 Sons: Ronnie (Cristie) Bull of Livingston, TN, Donnie (Becky) Bull of Cookeville, TN, and Danny Bull of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Barbara (Glenn) Webb and Betty Lacy, all of Livingston, TN, and Bonnie (Charlie) Burton of Baxter, TN; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Charlotte Bull of Parma, OH; 1 Son-in-Law: Robert Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Earl (Martha) Flynn of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister-in-Law: Ina Flynn of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren whom she raised and lived with her: Robert, Heather, and Travis Spivey; 22 Grandchildren; 23 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great- Great Grandchild.
