Evelyn Phann Barlow

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Phann Barlow, 88, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Old Antioch Cemetery in Gainesboro. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 8 P.M. and on Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born March 3, 1930, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Major Phann and Julie Smith Phann Nelson. She was married to the late Dalton Dual Barlow, who passed away September 26, 1986. She was a factory worker and homemaker, and a member of the Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Warren, Reggie, Mark, and Mack Phann. Survivors include 1 Son: Sammy Ray (Gail) Barlow of Hilham, TN; 2 Daughters: Carol Tramel of Lebanon, TN, and Shirley (Wayne "Red") Bull of Willis, MI; 7 Grandchildren; 14 Great-grandchildren; 17 Great-great grandchildren; and 2 Sisters: Mildred Cook of Canton, MI, and Chloe Stafford of Warren, MI.
