Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Grisham, 86, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dickens Cemetery in the Maggart community of Smith County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, at Quality Care Health Center. She was born August 4, 1930, in Springfield, TN, to the late Randolph Hoback and Victoria Hoback. She enjoyed over 68 years of marriage to the late William Albert Grisham, who passed away June 19, 2016. She was a secretary for the Baptist Sunday School Board, and grew up in Nashville, TN.. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Gerlie Felts and Patsy Bradley; and 1 Grandchild: Michele Smith. Survivors include 1 Son: William H. "Bill" Grisham of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Janice (Paul) Smith of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Brenda Durham of Nashville, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Michael Hodge of Old Hickory, TN, Danielle Smith (Mike) Wallin of Mt. Juliet, TN, Paul C. Smith, Jr. of Hermitage, TN, William A. Grisham II of Gainesboro, TN, and Andrew Grisham of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Great Grandchildren: Sebastian Grisham, Joshua Wallin, Madilyn Wallin, Katie Wallin, Sarah Wallin, Noah Wallin, Eli Smith, Alex Smith, and Landon Grisham; 5 Brothers: Robert E. Hoback, Jimmy Hoback, Scott Hoback, Ronnie Hoback, and Mike Hoback; 3 Sisters: Myrtle Bradley, Billy Joyce Morris, and Linda K. Hill; 2 Brothers in law: H.C. Grisham and M. A.
