Eula Way

Funeral services for Mrs. Eula Way, 84, of Algood, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, November 8, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Union Hill - Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 - 9 P.M., Monday from 5 - 9 P.M., and Tuesday from noon until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Way passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2005, the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was born August 14, 1921, in White County, TN, to the late John Bussell and Amanda Howell Bussell. On April 22, 1939, she was married to the late Hubert Way, who passed away on January 28, 1971. Mrs. Way was a retired factory employee at Heavy Duty Mfg. Co. She was a member of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Grandson: Tommy Lane Way; 6 Brothers: Hilman, Millard, Burl, Greely, Herbert, and Hooper Bussell; and 4 Sisters: Alta Bussell, Augusta Wilkerson, Gauda Choate, and Maude Scarlett. Survivors include 2 Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Arlon & Jane Way of Crossville, TN, and Doyle & Margaret Way of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Carolyn Sue Farran of Bloomington Springs, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Kimberly Jane (Paul) Gentry, Tammy Denise Young, Tony Allen Way, and Johnny Hany Farran; 7 Great-Grandchildren: Weston, Cranston, Bryson, and Kenton Gentry, Brandon Young, Brian Young, and Cody Way; and 1 Sister: Hester Thompson of Texas. Bro. Leamon Flatt will officiate at the services. Pallbearers: Johnny Farran, Tony Way, Weston Gentry, Cranston Gentry, Charles Thompson, David Wilkerson, R.D. "Bud" Bussell, and Sonny Scarlett.
