Eugene Locke

Funeral services for Eugene Locke, 86, of the Indian Creek community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born February 7, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Andrew Augusta Locke and Sally Edna Chaffin Locke. On June 30, 1961, he was married to Ruth Ann Locke, who survives. He worked at the shirt factory for almost 40 years, and was also a farmer. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Cubb Creek Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Billy, James, and Joe Locke; and 2 Sisters: Christine Locke and Louise Locke. Survivors include his Wife: Ruth Ann Locke of Whitleyville, TN; 3 Sons: Jeff Locke of Whitleyville, TN, John Locke of Rickman, TN, and Jason Locke of Whitleyville, TN; Grandchildren: Jonathan Locke, Corey Brandenburg, Ashley Stafford, and Justin Locke; and 8 Great Grandchildren. Bro. John D. Sisco and Bro. Hubert Jones will officiate at the services.
