Funeral services for Estil Young, 80, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, September 17, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Turkey Town Cemetery in Clay County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. He was born May 14, 1938, in Celina, TN, to the late Arthur Lee Young and Margaret Stone Young. He was married to Glenna F. Young, who survives. He was a machinist, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Arthur Stone Young, Frank Edward Young, and Billy Lewis Young; and 4 Sisters: Dorothy Savage, Evelyn Smith, Helen Snyder, and Bessie Clifton Ainsworth. Survivors include his Wife: Glenna F. Young of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Billy Edward Young of Granville, TN; 1 Daughter: Kimberley Denise Mowrey of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Jamie Richardson, Michael Allen, Kyle Richardson, and Kassidy Allen; 1 Brother: Jessie Fowler Young of Celina, TN; and 1 Sister: Sue Lancaster of Moss, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Bobby Scantland will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Turkey Town Cemetery Fund by contacting the funeral home.
