Esther Mae Johnson

Esther Mae Johnson was born April 6, 1946, in Maryville, TN, and she passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at her residence in Cookeville, TN, at the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Dave Anderson and Ella Ruth Amburn. She was married to the late Roger Dale Johnson, who passed away November 11, 2006. She worked for over 20 years at Fleetguard, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Jeanetta Ruthann Hickey; and 1 Sister: Marie Johnson. Survivors include 1 Son: Ronald (Lisa Sims) Johnson of East Palestine, OH; 2 Daughters: Janice Faye (Timmy) James and Joyce (Silas) Yvonne Golden, both of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister: Margaret Faye Fletcher of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Kyla, Kim, Jammie, Leanna, Deanna, Adam, Cody, Kathy, Ashley, Alicia, Dale, Noah, Sean, Shannon, and Darrell; 27 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Son in Law: Mike Hickey of Cookeville, TN. The family will hold a private graveside service. Pastor Zach Buckner will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
