Ernest B. Phann

Funeral services for Mr. Ernest B. Phann, 64, of the Harmony community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, January 22, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Peek Cemetery in the Harmony community. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Phann passed away on Friday, January 21, 2005, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born July 31, 1940, in Jackson County to the late Harlen and Julie Hamlet Phann. On September 12, 1964, he was married to Sandra Casteel Phann, who survives. Mr. Phann was a tree trimmer, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Grover Phann. Survivors include his wife: Sandra K. Phann of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Adam E. Phann of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter and Son-in-Law: Amy J. and Jackie Carmack of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Charlie Phann of Hilham, TN, and Winters Phann & James Phann, both of DeKalb County, TN; and 2 Sisters: Verble Harris of Gainesboro, TN, and Glenda Dawes of Smithville, TN.
