Erma Stafford Meadows

Funeral services for Mrs. Erma Sue Stafford Meadows, age 77, a resident of Gainesboro, TN, will be held Friday, April 4, 2008, at 11 A.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., Thursday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and on Friday from 9 A. M. until time of services. Mrs. Meadows passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 11, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Robert Stafford and Elizabeth Vanhooser Stafford. On August 11, 1950, she was married to the late Ridley Mitchell Meadows, who passed away October 21, 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Ricky Steve Meadows and Ronnie Meadows; and 2 Daughters: Edith Louise Meadows and Sally May Meadows Survivors include 5 Sons and 3 Daughters-in-law: Billy Joe and Janet Stafford of Livingston, TN, Robert E. and Debbie Meadows , Roger Dale and Rose Meadows, Bobby Ray and Donnie Meadows all of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Brothers: Ross Stafford of Shelbyville, TN and James Stafford of Hartsville, TN; 1 Sister: Mattie Coffee of Kentucky; 8 Grandchildren; and 10 Great-Grandchildren. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Doyle Wilmoth will officiate at the services.
