Erika Gentry

Erika Gelinda Lachman Gentry was born September 21, 1942 in Germany and she passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 in Gainesboro at the age of 80.

She was the daughter of Paul and Ana Lachman.  She was a cook and a member of the Baptist Church.

Erika was preceded in death by parents.

Survivors include her sons, Johnnie Gentry of Granville and Stanley Russell of Arkansas; daughters, Sandra Stafford of Gainesboro and Anna Marie (Todd) Merriman of Maryville, TN; grandchildren: Natasha Stafford, Linda Christian, Cinda Stafford, all of Gainesboro, Jessica Gentry, Rachel Farley and ,Jacob Gentry, all of Livingston, Jonah Gentry of Gainesboro, Amber (Brian) Campbell and Katie (Corey) Cooper both of Maryville, TN, Lisa (Len) Hobbs of Columbus, IN, Patricia Russell, Stanley Sr. and Patrick Russell, and Stacey Blanton all of Indiana, DeShea Russell of Arkansas, and Jason Russell of TN; great grandchildren: Tristan Stafford, Adrianna Doney, Michael Doney, Travis Christian, Taylor Christian, Bailey Rai, Kenzie Grace and Riley Blake all of Gainesboro, Micah, Madison, Brooklyn and Sydney Campbell, Lolabell, Leonard “LJ” and Lincoln Hobbs, and Willow Cooper; along with other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 beginning at 7 PM at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Andy Grey officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday 4-7 pm.

Family has honored her wishes to be cremated.
