Emogene Mayberry

Funeral services for Mrs. Emogene Mayberry, 79, of the Freewill community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mayberry Family Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born March 15, 1933, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Lon Robinson and Frances Chaffin Robinson. On June 4, 1951, she was married to Alton Mayberry, who survives. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Willard, Oscar, Larry, and Hollis Lee Robinson. Survivors include her Husband: Alton Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Billy C. (Edna) Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN, and Roger Dale (Carol) Mayberry of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Barbara (John) Mabery of Gainesboro, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Leslie (Russell) Wattenbarger, Chris (Elizabeth) Mabery, Andrea (Jeff) Guillote, Amanda (Mike) Birdwell, and LauraBeth Mayberry; 6 Great Grandchildren: Hunter Wattenbarger, Heath Wattenbarger, Isabella Mabery, Allie Mabery, Harrison Guillote, and Hayley Jo Guillote; 1 Brother: C.D. (Janice) Robinson of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister: Willene (Fred) Heady of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister-in-law: Modene Robinson of Michigan. Bro. Michael Martin and Bro.
