Elna Boles Trisdale

Funeral services for Mrs. Elna "Sister" Boles Trisdale, 88, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. She was born March 16, 1922, in Clay County, TN, to the late Bedford "Hatchett" Boles and Avo Elliott Boles. On May 3, 1947, she was married to the late Claudie Trisdale, who passed away November 12, 1995. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Johnny Trisdale and Ward Trisdale; 5 Brothers: Roy Boles, Earl Boles, Robert Boles, Billy Boles, and Rudolph Boles; and 4 Sisters: Elise Stafford, Olene Stafford, Ila Boles, and Jenny Boles. Survivors include 1 Son: Billy (Donna) Trisdale of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 2 Daughters: Linda (Zander) Dixon and Nancy (Garry) Vinson, all of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 10 Grandchildren; 2 Step-Grandchildren; and 11 Great Grandchildren.
