Elizabeth "Foofie" Payne

Memorial services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ruth "Foofie" Payne, 95, of Allons, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Overton County Health and Rehab Center in Livingston, TN. She was born June 15, 1923, in West Haven, CT, to the late Timothy H. Anderson and Mary Veronica Anderson. On December 21, 1944, she was married to the late Orville Roscoe Payne, who passed away October 10, 2005. She was a school teacher, and attended the New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Timothy H. and Mary Veronica Anderson; her Husband: Orville R. Payne; and 1 Sister. Survivors include 1 Son: Samuel (Patricia) Payne of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Jason (Brittney) Payne, Amanda (Josh) Bilbrey, Aubrey (Chris) Wilson, and Joey (Julie) Payne; and 9 Great Grandchildren: Jamie Bilbrey, Haley Payne, Jacob Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Summer Wilson, Colton Payne, Trenton Payne, Jaylee Kelly, and Landon Kelly.
