Elise "Trix" Stafford

Funeral services for Mrs. Elise "Trix" Stafford, 89, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Stafford passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. She was born February 16, 1920, in Clay County, TN, to the late Bedford and Avo Boles. She was married to the late Aaron F. Stafford, who passed away July 8, 1971. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Roy Boles, Earl Boles, Robert Boles, Billy Boles, and Rudolph Boles; and 3 Sisters: Olene Stafford, Ila Boles, and Jenny Boles. Survivors include 1 Son: Paul W. Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Elna Boles Trisdale of Red Boiling Springs, TN; Special Friend: Denise Carver of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Special Nieces: Linda Dixon and Nancy Vinson; and several nieces and nephews.
